Rose Winick
Founder and President
As the wife of a police sergeant who works for a municipal police agency in Southern California, she found herself in need of advice that she felt she could only get from other police wives. Not able to find appropriate resources available to her, she decided to form her own support system by starting an online support forum. That forum has grown to over 200 members from across the nation, including members from England, Australia and Canada. Over the years Rose has received many requests from officers and their families seeking assistance with resources and financial help during disaster and medical crisis, as well as law enforcement agencies requesting support due to budgetary cuts. She was called into action and formed Wives Behind the Badge into a non-profit organization for the sole purpose of raising money to help police families and law enforcement agencies.
Prior to Wives Behind the Badge, Rose worked as a Dealer Service Analyst for PRIMUS Financial Services, in their wholesale department, and as a Senior Payment Processing Specialist for Hyundai Motor Finance Company. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and their Boxers.
