Tabitha Youngstrom - President

Tabitha Youngstrom joined Wives Behind the Badge in 2011 as the California Special Events Coordinator. She is the proud wife of a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy, mother of three beautiful girls, and resides in Southern California. She currently works as an Operations Asistant II for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and has always been committed to community service, volunteering her time in various charity events and creating new ones with her department and Wives Behind The Badge. As a 20 year veteran wife, Tabitha is passionate about helping others wade through the rough waters of law enforcement life and enjoys lending an ear or hand in whatever is asked of her.  She has already made a huge impact on our organization and the Auxiliary Program. – Email Tabitha

Amanda Pekarek – Vice President

Amanda has been a member of Wives Behind the Badge since 2009 and first appeared on the Board of Directors in 2010. She is married to a deputy sheriff in Northern California where they reside with their 3 children. She currently runs her own home based business and is thankful it allows her the time to dedicate to Wives Behind the Badge. Along with her duties as VP, Amanda is currently the HALOS coordinator and director for the northern California auxiliary. Tammy Fraley – Treasurer

Tammy Fraley joined our Board of Directors as our Treasurer in May 2012 and is also serving as the Director for the Maryland Auxiliary Committee.  Tammy is the wife of a Patrolman First Class/School Resource & D.A.R.E. officer.  They reside in Western Maryland with their four wonderful boys.   Tammy currently works as a senior systems integration specialist.  Tammy came to us after creating a similar group of wives in her local area to provide a place for the ladies to talk about their marriage, frustrations, and to make friends.  Tammy will use her past experience of being an accountant and CPA in the state of Texas in her role of as treasurer.  She looks forward to helping LEO wives and families around the world to build a network of friends, as well as being assistants during an emergency. -Email Tammy
 

Mendi Keatts – Chaplain

Mendi Keatts has been a member of Wives Behind the Badge since 2007 and has been acting as our Member Liaison and Chaplain since 2009. She joined our board of directors in 2012 and is also the Director of our Virginia Auxiliary Committee. In addition to all the time she donates to WBTB, Mendi works as the Director of Youth and Director of Christian Education at her church, and is pursuing her graduate degree in mental health counseling. She is the proud wife of a Roanoke Police Officer and proud mom to three awesome kids. Mendi is eager to help law enforcement families succeed in their emotional health and has already helped her local officers by providing training to their families. – Email Mendi
