Chelsea Spencer

President & Scholarship Director

Chelsea Spencer became our President on January 1, 2011. She served Wives Behind the Badge as the Director of Marketing & PR and Scholarship Director in 2010 and has been a member of our support forums since 2008. She is the proud wife of a California Highway Patrol Officer and resides in Central California. Chelsea is a distinguished graduate from the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno and works part time in elementary and secondary education. In addition to her extensive community service and volunteer work, she previously worked in management for several local companies. Chelsea is always willing to help those in need and never ignores an opportunity to assist her law enforcement family. Together with the Board of Directors and staff of WBTB, she is working hard to expand the programs and resources available to police families and the law enforcement community as a whole. Her desire to pay forward the generosity and friendship she has received is the driving force in her work for Wives Behind the Badge.

Amanda Pekarek

Vice President

Amanda Pekarek became our Vice President on January 1, 2011. She served as our Director of Outreach in 2010 and is an active member of our online support forums. Amanda is a devoted mother to three children and a loving wife to her husband, a Deputy Sheriff in Northern California. In addition to her volunteer work, she is a former graduate of the police academy and currently works full-time for her own cosmetics company – Blue Line Costmetics. Amanda is very people-oriented and is easy to speak with, she loves being able to welcome new families to the law enforcement community, and she is always willing to offer advice to her peers.  Her dedication to her law enforcement family shines through in the work she does to support our organization.

Megan Flick

Secretary

Megan Flick has been our Secretary since October of 2010 and has been an active member of our online support forums since 2009. Megan is the wife of a Deputy Sheriff and the mother of two amazing young boys, and she resides on the Central Coast of California.  Her passion for outreach and community service is evident in the time she spends volunteering for Wives Behind the Badge and within her local law enforcement community.  In addition to her volunteer work, Megan is an extremely talented professional photographer, and has become known as the “crafting goddess” of WBTB.

Officer Jordan Beckford

Treasurer

Jordan Beckford joined our Board of Directors as our Treasurer in November of 2010 and has volunteered on our Scholarship Committee since February of 2010. Jordan has served the people of Central California as a Peace Officer since 2004 when she started with the Reedley Police Department. She is currently a member of a special district team within the Fresno Police Department. Jordan’s work for Wives Behind the Badge has been an integral part of our recent growth and advancement as a national non-profit organization.
